In vitro scientific evidence

Testing the reduction of particles in gastric digestion with Enzymax:

  •  Gastric digestion with Enzymax was shown to be more effective in reducing the size of food particles that will enter the duodenum.
  • Enzymax diminishes the size of food particles >2 mm by two-fold compared to placebo, after oral and gastric digestion.

Testing the hydrolitic effect of Enzymax against pancreatin 10,000:

In vivo clinical studies

Enzymax constitutes an alternative of pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) for Cystic Fibrosis patients

A study has been carried out in collaboration with the Cuban Ministry of Health and Hospital Calixto García (Cuba) in patients under long term pancreatin 25,000 treatment.

In the comparison of Enzymax Forte with pancreatin 25,000, there was a statistically significant reduction in the number of patients:
